How many watts psu do i need for AMD Radeon R7 240 1gb ddr5 graphic card

Hi, I recently brought SAPPHIRE AMD Radeon R7 240 1gb ddr5 graphic card and it says 400 watts psu require but mine is 450 watts, when I install the card and start my pc a massage appears something like "power fails____" (i was unable to read the whole massage) then i again start my pc the cpu fan was running but the power led of my pc was off and when I remove the graphic card system work fine. so i want to know is something wrong with my psu, if yes then how many watts psu do i need.

Acording to this site,recommend power supply for the R7 240 is 350W,so your PSU should be more than enough.
What PSU do you have?

But I dont think it's a quality PSU. I think you should upgrade your PSU to another,higher quality 450W PSU.
