Can you fit a 5.25 fan controller in two 3.5 drive bays?

Hi my case doesnt have a 5.25 inch drive bay but it has plenty of 3.5 inch drives bays and you can basically make it into a 7 inch drive bay, would you be able to attach a 5.25 inch fan controller in that?

No. The measurement you are referencing is the width which isn't changing. You can't fit the larger into the smaller... even if you were to change the height.

You could mod your case to make it fit. I have a corsair 540 air case, did a whole lot of modding to get my comonents to fit. I have 3x3.25" hhd raid bay/care where the stock 2x5.25" bays were, and I have a 3.5" nzxt fan controller under the power button where nothing but front of case was before.

Anythings possible with a dremel

NZXT Sentry-2 5.25" Touch Screen Fan Controller

Its technically a 5", but you can cut off/around the screen and take off the plastic "holder", screen itself is 3.5"
