Looking to buy a waterblock for my HD 4870,

The exact card is the PowerColor HD4870 PCS+

The card has served me well throughout the years, overclocked lightly to 800core 1000mem (could go further - not bothered) and underclocked/undervolted 2D profiles keeps my card at 35c idle 65c max in heavy gaming.

I am looking to buy a watercooling block for this card, preferably the FC4870 (with rev.2 addon vrm plate).

If anyone has a one or knows someone who does, please let me know!!! Thanks in advance!

TLDR; im looking to buy a FC 4870 (with rev.2 vrm plate).

Thats seems like a bit of a waste to water cool an old card like that i would recommend you dont spend any money on that card and save up for a new one.

I would, however my budget for the upgrades is around £250-300 (im in the UK), and as i will be watercooling (i really need the coolness and quietness) i cant afford to buy another graphics card.

On another note, it still kicks out a damn good fps in most games at med-high settings.

And on another note, i will not be using it for heavy gaming any more, light gaming and visual studio will be about all it will be subjected to.

3rd and final note, its working great, just the fan's noisy like a minature jet turbine. And why dump the 4870 when it still functions as a perfectly good card for what i use it for.

Extra note (continuing 3rd and final), i feel the fan is going to fail sometime in the near future and id like to keep this little beasty of a gpu going for at least another 4 years :)  and im watercooling the rest of the system so why not put this in the loop

Well i dont mean to keep ragging on the card but i just looked for one and its so old they dont make water coolers for it anymore i cant even find a used one on ebay. And forget the fan the whole card could fail soon its 4 years old. Have you used it for gaming for 4 years?

Ive used it for a lot of light and some heavy gaming since i got it (had it a long long time now) and ive taken good care to be sure its never overheated or even got close to overheating. Never overclocked above the 800core 1000mem, and its always been at that since shortly after i got it, if it does die, its my own loss. But its ran so great so far and ive been so careful with it i feel it should run fine even 4 years from now

The average life span of a graphics card is 3-4 years with moderate use and no overclock. They dont last forever even if you do take care of it the parts degrade over time. So that said i would not recommend you spend money water cooling something that is at the end of its life. But that's just my opinion you do what you think is best.
