Evga step up GTX 880?

Since the GTX 880 is coming out soon, should I get a GTX 780 (As they have a higher price then the rumored price of the 880 meaning I would get the 880 for free) then use the evga step up program to get the 880 or just get the 780 ti as it is not worth the risk of it not being released in 90 days?

Don't buy the 780 if your expecting the 880 to be released before the 90 day period. Anything can happen during their process that could extend when the actual 880 would be released. If you are in need of a GPU and don't want to wait till the 880 release date is announced then go for the 780 ti. Bare in mind the jump from 780 to 780 ti isn't a huge jump but it's still a jump, so it depends on if you want to pay the extra $200 for that jump.
