so im wondering if i absolutely need a full tower case, or can i get a mid tower case because where i was hoping on putting this tower probably wont fit a full tower case.

You will be fine with a mid tower ATX case. You will have less room if you ever wanted to upgrade more in the future though, keep that in mind.

Your GPU is 11" long, so make sure you get a mid tower case that can fit that, don't go too small!
