Battlefield 4 CPU spikes, freezing after awhile into the game, and freezing while loading into the game.

System stats:
2012 Asus AMD CM1740
A8 3800
350 Watt PSU
8 gigs of RAM
1600x900 monitor res
F-1A75-M ASUS mobo
Stock cooler.
EVGA ACX Superclocked 750 ti.

In the campaign, it would either glitch, or crash/freeze and then crash while loading into a mission
In Multiplayer, it would also either crash/freeze crash or it would let me play for like 30 minutes before freezing and crashing. I've noticed that I'm getting CPU spikes to 100.
I really want to fix this. Thank you all in advanced.

first off, turn the game settings to low. then install msi afterburner and hwinfo64 (or something similar), then monitor mem usage, temps, etc

Memory usage is at 40%, all CPU's are still spiking at 80-100%.

it might be your psu, what brand do you have?
or it might be the game itself, you know, it's battlefield (don't get me wrong i play bf all the time with my clan mates)

350 watt acbel. My computer is nothing but a home computer, only thing realy gaming related is the 750 that I put in it.

i know that a 750ti does not demand much in power, however 350 is a little low nowadays, a 500 or a 550 should be minimum.

try other games, see what happens, bf series is buggy (though it improved a lot), but just to see if the same thing happens

Bf3 runs fine. That's the only thing that can compare to Battlefield 4. I've also noticed that ever since I've installed the 750 ti, my CPU has been going nuts with so many spikes even when I'm not playing games like bf4. So much lag.

I got 50c while playing using coretemp. I have a stock cooler so I think these temps are expected.

i would suggest you try other games. or borrow a different psu

In gmod, CPU 1 and 4 have peaks at 70%. CPU 2 and 3 remain within 50-60%. Ram usage is at 50%. Temps still stayed at 51%.

Nevermind, all 4 CPU's are now spiking at 70-80, GPU spiked in at 98-100% usage. Forgot to get the gpu usage for battlefield 4, going to test now

please try at low settings if you have not done so. i am not familiar with your cpu/apu(?), but 50% is too low, i probably is a bottleneck
