I am going to build a gaming pc for the first time. I need help with knowing if all my parts are compatible with each other. I also need to know if I am missing any parts.

CPU- Intel i5-4690k 3.5ghz

Oh ok because 16gb would be a waste of money. I would recommend getting a R9 280X over a 770 because they both perform about the same, but the 280x has more VRAM so VRAM-hungry games will be able to run at max settings
