Decided to see how much it would cost me to create a system which could run Planetside 2 on low settings. I could build the system below for £400 - £500 British Pounds.

Question1. How is it balanced?
Question2. Could I get 30+ fps on low settings?

System Spec.

I3 4370 3.8Ghz.
16GB DDR3 1600Mhz Ram.
NVIDIA GTX 750TI GDDR5 2GB.@ PCI EXPRESS 3.0

Low settings?! 750 ti?? All of your specs are more than enough, more so the gpu and the ram. You could save money on the ram by putting in only 8gb, unless you video edit and render a lot of things. As for the gpu, it most likely will run that game highest setting with high framerate. You could also save money on the gpu! If you are willing to go with amd, the r7 260x is cheaper( in north america at least) and performs very similar, but requires a 6 pin pci power cord from your psu, unlike the 750 ti. You can save even more money by getting a slightly less powerful gpu, if you want to of course.

no, not 100-person battles, but i played this game on an amd a10-5700 apu with integrated graphics. Those integrated graphics have a 700-something passmark score. Planeside 2 isn't very graphics intensive at all. Who told you you need three crossfire/sli gpu's to run this game? They might have been joking. A 750 ti will run this game fluently at pretty dang high settings( it and the r7 260x run crisis three high settings at very good framerate) and if it starts to lag in 100-person battles, just tone down the settings a bit. Seriously though, the guy that recommended 3 gpu's for this game to get fluent framerates was kidding you.

I've also tested it on a AMD APU A10 4655m 2.8 ghz max. Max fps I got was 30 and in 100 player battles it went right down to 5-10.

Sorry mate Im off to main forum. Need better info. No offence.
