This will be my 4th PC built, but every time I like to come on here for a final check to make sure everything is all good.
Budget Range: $600ish AUD
System Usage: Home, Mostly Internet Stuff (for my Dad)

Motherboard: ASUS H97M-PLUS/4 x DDR3/1 x PCI-E 3.0/1 x PCI-E 2.0 x16/2 x PCI/6 x SATA/6 x USB 3.0/DVI-D/D-Su $131.00
--- (Went with a mid ranged Asus as that is what I'm use to, if there is better for similar price in another brand that is fine) ---
RAM: G Skill 8G(2x4G) DDR3 1600MHZ PC3-12800 CL9(8GBXL) $99.00

HDD: Western Digital Blue 1TB SATA3 HDD 64M Caviar Blue WD10EZEX $63.00
--- (Not much to say here, 1TB space, blue cause it's mid ranged in performance) ---
Case: Fractal Design Window Side Panel for Define R4 / ARC Mid Tower $29.00
--- (Cheap, don't need anything fancy, fits the motherboard) ---
PSU: Corsair VS350 350W ATX Power Supply $45.00
--- (Used this before, cheap and reliably) ---
Optical Drive: Samsung SATA Black Internal DVD RW Drive $18.00

So I ask you all for your recommendations on improvements and just a general compatibility check to make sure I didn't miss anything.
This PC is just my Dad with everyday use, mostly for using eBay as he hobbies in that. Would like it to have some speed and multitasking as he can get frustrated easily.
Brands don't matter too much, as long as you know they are reliably. The price range is somewhat flexible within reason.
