Vibrating side panel on Phantom 410 due to fan.

I have The nzxt phantom 410 mid tower case. It is a great case except for one problem, the fan slot/ mesh plate on the side panel has a tendency to vibrate as the fan spins. It seems that the mesh material is flimsy, allowing the fan to cause it to vibrate creating a very irritating noise. A simple light touch to the middle of the middle of the mesh on the side can fix this problem, but keeping your finger there the entire time you have your computer on can be a problem.

Here is a photo of the side panel that has the mesh plate that is vibrating when the fan is running/ computer turned on. http://postimg.org/image/rwsee3vvl/

Does anyone know of any fixes to silence the noise?

Solution
Is the noise actually a vibration or a harmonic (the noise created by the air flowing through the honeycomb)? If it's a vibration, you can try adding rubber washers on the mounting screws between the fan and the panel. And/or try putting thin strips of rubber (not vinyl) electrical tape at various places around the outside edge of the panel to act as a buffer between the panel and chassis.

If it's a harmonic, you can reverse the fan, cut the grill out, or lower the fan RPM until the harmonic is bearable. There are other options, but most of them are a waste of time. One thing that didn't work for me, but I thought should have is sticking flat magnets to the inside of the panel as dampers.

It's definitely vibration. I will go ahead and try the rubber washer and the magnet options and see what happens. Thanks!! Ill let you know how it turns out. Ill do it later today or tomorrow.

I went ahead and added the rubber washers, worked great!! so far no vibration at all!! Thanks a bunch!!.......... It's soo quiet........too quiet......

That's right.... i said it....
