I'm considering a upgrade to 144Hz - 1920 X 1080P monitor. But im not sure if my MSI GTX 780 TF is able to handle games like - Battlefield 4, titanfall, in general the big titles in 144Hz, is it capable to run them in 144Hz?, if so, also ultra? :).

Ty in advance - Nick

Solution
144hz is how many times a second the screen refreshes itself, any card can "handle" it. it doesnt make extra work for the gpu to do so there is no performance loss, it just makes it 'feel' smoother

Oh okay hah, i was at my cousin not to long ago and i asked him why not get 120Hz and he said his PC wasn't powerfull enough :), guess he thought it took more power from the GPU like i did :), thanks - Nick

Wat?

Anyways, no. :( Even if you got 4 780ti's and overclocked them with an overclocked 4790k you wouldn't see 144fps minimums maxed out. If you settle for mediums and overclock your CPU 144Hz should be pretty achievable.

So, yes the card can output in 144Hz, but might not have the grunt to do it maxed out on the newest games.

you don't need to have a constant minimum fps of 144 to get an improvement out of a 144hz monitor, maybe I didn't explain myself clearly, but im not saying that his card will be pushing 144 fps, im just saying that he CAN use the monitor and for some people there is a NOTICABLE improvement in the smoothes of the gameplay

At the moment im running 90-120 FPS in battlefield 4 as an example, and that is on 60Hz 1080P :), so tho that FPS range seem okay for 144Hz or 120Hz?, btw im running on full ultra now.

some people claim to notice it ( I cant))

to earlier.... 90-120 fps will be fine for a 144hz monitor, it doesn't really matter what fps you are pushing
