System:

i5 3570k - OC 4.2ghz
Asrock Extreme 4 Z77
Hyper 212 EVO (push/pull)
16gb Corsair Vengeance 1600hz (2 Channel)
Gigabyte 7970 GPU
128gb SSD
1TB HDD
Optical Drive

My PSU is currently a Seasonic M12 II 80+ Bronze Evo Edition 620W.

I'm looking to add an r9 280, and not sure if I'll be pushing it a little to close. If you would recommend upgrading, what would be your choice?

I've been peaking at the EVGA Supernova's 750w-1000w.
