Hello, I'm Jewel with Kingston Technical Support. Generally, anything added to the end of a part number with a "-" indicates the type of packaging it is in or the type of reseller. It is possible that the "-A1" indicates something like that or the reseller placed it there for their purposes. I was not able to locate the part number "KTD-PE313/8G-A1" in our records but should be the same as "KTD-PE313/8G". If you could link where you are seeing this I may be able to elaborate.

From that link the picture shows part number KTD-PE313LV/8G but lists part number KTD-PE313/8G. I would question the seller about that since if you happen to need to deal with the warranty and your proof of purchase has a different part number there will be issues. The only difference between KTD-PE313LV/8G and KTD-PE313/8G is that the one with LV is low voltage otherwise both are 8GB 1333MHz Register ECC 2Rx4 modules. Both were also discontinued earlier this year (Feb 2014). The current iteration of this part is KTD-PE316LV/8G or KTD-PE316S/8G which are 8GB 1600MHz Registered ECC 1Rx4 modules with the LV one being low voltage. Low voltage is 1.35V while standard is 1.5V.
