Hello everyone,

I have an Intel 4670 with the regular cooler that comes with it since I am not overclocking. My CPU temperature when I just browse or whatever, is normally not much higher than 30 degrees C, but as soon as I start up an FPS game the temperature jumps to somewhere between 60 and 70 degrees C.

Should I be worries about this? Please let me know.

P.S. There's only very little thermal paste on my CPU (less than it should) since I accidentally wiped off some with my arm when installing. I am going to buy a better thermal paste now and apply that. Any chance this might lower the temps significantly?

They are fine mine runs at 65 for hours at a time. 80 I'd get worried. the stock cooler is ok, but can be on the edge.

Yup, not dangerous. try buying aftermarket Coolers instead like the EVO 212 which is cheap for performance.
