Come the end of August, I'll finally have enough money to build my long awaited gaming pc including a gtx 780 and fx 8350. My only question is, there are 8 parts to my build, is it worth waiting until black Friday to save the extra cash? (I'm 16, and I've been wanting a gaming pc for over a year) (I plan on buying from newegg and amazon, but primarily newegg)

Yes it would be worth it. Don't forget the 800 Series is coming really soon. :)

I would say no.
If you plan on waiting, you will always be waiting. If you are going to wait for Maxwell why not wait for the next generation instead?
Also, stocks go fast on Black Friday, you will be hard pressed to get your ideal parts in stock when you plan to buy.

You guys both make good points. I guess I'm also wondering how much I would even end up saving by waiting the extra 2 months until black Friday.
Its been such a painful wait!!

You are not the only one. You see my signature on the bottom right. I have been waiting for almost 2 years. :D
