I have tried over and over for multiple hours to try to install windows 7 on my custom pc. I have a 3tb hard drive and an Asus Z97-A motherboard. It boots into BIOS and every time I change the boot priority to my disk drive it will reboot right back into BIOS without going through the install process at all. Please please please help before I shoot someone!

Yeah it recognizes it and it starts to make the noise like its reading the disk and then it just goes to the bios

Get down to the basic stuff
take out everything except:
onboard video (remove video card)
anything plugged into pci(e) slots
keep one stick of RAM into slot 0
CPU (obviously)

Notice no dVd or HDD
What happens?

Go into bios and set optimized defaults and set up everything else that needs to be set afterwards, like memory timings and speed. Then try and load windows. Should work. Bios should be set up first and foremost.

EDIT:
Check BIOS version. Load the newest version first, then set it all up correctly as mentioned above. Then load windows. For builds, this is what I always do before trying to load any OS. Just making sure BIOS is updated and set up before hand will make life a little easier for you.

I already don't have anything in my pci slots, I only have one stick of RAM. I even tried unplugging my keyboard and mouse. Nothing. It still boots to the bios. Does it maybe have something to do with the fact that my disk is oem?

Pl disable fast boot in BIOS settings and make your HDD as boot drive.
