It can depend on a lot of variables such as the cooling capabilities of your case, what other components you have, how many monitors you have plugged in (more than 1 will increase the temp significantly), whether something you have open is stopping the card from down-clocking all the way when at idle, etc etc. Also, keep in mind that a lot of graphics card reviews are carried out using open test benches and not with the card inside a case, which understandably changes things.
The reviews of your card I've seen have shown varying idle temperatures, from 25 at the low end, to 35 at the high, so while it's at the high end, it's still in the range or normalcy. Really it's the load temperatures that are the important ones, and from what you've said so far, they sound pretty good.
