Ok I'm curious is it possible to make a alienware 17 model into an sli enabled an if it will work? An I know there would be few issues you'd encounter with more heating ect just curious if one could make it possible at home an it be a beast?

I didn't think you could add a second GPU to a laptop. I knew that they had ones that came with two GPUs default.

Laptops are hard to customise with all the wiring and stuff. So he would need be a laptop expert (a really good one) to be able to put SLI in, but if the case can fit both of it and the PSU will support it.

Do the M versions of the cards even have SLI fingers? That could also be a problem.

Depends which it is. Not all can have SLI like a desktop. :D

So it would depend on if the card is capable of supporting sli. Cause recently bought alienware 17 gpu 765m sli it says I'm sure it doesn't have another gpu in it. But it doesn't mean I don't want to try when exactly want to see if the opportunity lies there to make an 17 into sli model to boost the performance. Cause alienware is the only laptop model bad that allows you to upgrade the gpu when ever you want to.

Yup the 765m and 860m and be SLI. So if it allows then go for it but don't forget how much power you would need. :)
