My Z97 has some faulty USB ports so I will be returning it and getting a new one hopefully in the next few days. This is a fresh build from only a week ago. I've already installed windows on my SSD and had to wipe it start again when something went wrong. But will I need to install windows again? The board will be exactly the same but I did update the BIOs manually so I dont know if Windows will find issue with it when booting back up. Can anyone shed any light on this.
Also what is the best maintenance care for installing and having to re install windows on an SSD. I mainly use it for just windows as I heard that its best to not keep writing files to and from the drive.
