windows cannot be started, only ubuntu can

I installed both windows vista sp2 and ubuntu 12.10 to my laptop. When I startup, it allowed me to choose between ubuntu and windows to boot. However, now it only boots ubuntu directly when startup without windows being able to be chosen anymore. Anyone please help me to get my windows back. Many thanks!

it sounds like you have a bootloader issue. Since you listed Ubuntu second I am guessing you also installed it second so your system would be using the Linux dualboot loader. I moved your thread to the Linux forum for this reason. If you need me to move it back please PM me or any mod.. thanks
