Hi Friends,

I have a desktop with 32 GB SSD drive where I keep the OS. But because of less storage it is almost full.

Now, I have just bought new 64 GB SSD drive from Xinnovators.com
But I need to duplicate the 32 GB drive onto the 64 GB one.

How do I do this from the hardware standpoint? (from the software stand point I will use a hard drive cloning software)

My Questions is
Do I have to buy an external hard drive to put the 64GB SSD drive.
I am using Windows 7 on the current 32 GB SSD drive.

Please help me

The manufacturer should have given you some software to do exactly that.

Just make sure you set the BIOS to accept the 2nd hard drive, when you install it.

The SSD drive should work exactly like a normal HDD in every respect, and the cloning software will take the extra size of the new SSD into account. It should also set the MBR (Master Boot Record) setup the same way so that Windows won't even know.

However, if you still plan to use both SSD's in the same system, you will then have to diskwipe and format the 32GB drive, or your computer will see 2 copies of windows, due to the MBR's, and that creates headaches when activating and updating windows.
