Had my gaming pc for 2 weeks and need help determining which games this system can play

Hi guys only 2 weeks ago i recently built my first ever gaming pc, here are the specs.

CPU- Amd FX-6300 (only have stock cooler so no oc capablity)
GPU- sapphire r9 270x (boost edition oc at 1070mhz)
MOBO-Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P
PSU- Evga 500w 80+ bronze power supply
MEMORY- 8GB (2x4GB) Crucial Ballistix Sport 1600MHz CL9 DDR3

Overall i am incredibly happy with this system and it sure is better than console gaming in my opinion. However considering i am a noob to the pc gaming scene i don't know what this system is capable of playing at 1080p high settings with 60fps. I enjoy shooters/rpgs the most, basically can i play any modern game today with the settings mentioned above? any help would be much appreciated.

Your gaming PC should run pretty much every game you throw at it (with the exception of really intensive games like crisis 3) At Ultra settings, BF4 High at 1080p with 60+fps you might be able to do ultra with it.

Wow... is it really that good haha? well with that awesome information do you have any idea of how long this system will last before having to upgrade for future games?

Quite a while, Until your card can't play the AAA titles at the settings you want I suppose, The 270x is a pretty strong card for the money
