Asus R9 270 vs XFX R9 270X

Hey Guys, im not that expert at video Cards so what Card should i get with my Core i5 4460 and why? Both Cards have the same price in my Country.

I pretend to run them in 1920x1080 at High/Ultra

definitely the r9 270x, it's better than the 270 and the card manufacturer, xfx, is great

The only real difference is in Core speed by a 100 MHz. technically the 270X is a better card.

But here's the catch. You're comparing a high end 270 with a low end 270X, and quality wise I'd always prefer Asus.

Also its the DirectCU II OC edition which is indeed a very powerful GPU, and I'd rather not go with the Double D XFX since its cooling is not trusted

Asus makes solid GPUs for a bit premium price but are worth it and they're quiet too. Go for 270!

The difference between them is about 5-10 frames per second, if you are going to overclock your graphics card, get the 270X. If not, get the 270.

SO is it safe to get the asus one for the extra quality and overclock with MSI afterburner?

Also i have a XFX 550w Core Edition

Your PSU can support that. Also, the quality Asus provides is very premium. That 270 edition is comparatively good at OCing too. And yes MSI Afterburner would do it. GO for it! :)
