How do you make minecraft faster?

Hi. I am running minecraft on a Windows 7 64 bit computer with 64 bit java with 4 Gigabytes of ram (I allocated it with 2 Gigabytes). I am only getting about 15 - 25 fps with the best video settings i had. (Render Distance = 2, Particles = Minimal, Max Framerate = Unlimited, Clouds = Off, etc.) I really need to make minecraft faster so I can play Hunger Games without it lagging. Hope someone can help.

1. Go to "Run." (Windows Key + R)

2. Type: "dxdiag" (without quotation marks)

3. Look for "Processor" on the first tab (System), and look for "Name" in the Device section under the second tab (Display).

4. Post the name of your processor and your "display device" as they are listed in dxdiag.
