I've come up with a part list on which I would like your opinions. Its meant for gaming on 2014 titles with around 30fps at high to ultra settings. I'd specially appreciate it if you could mention a good motherboard as well
Thanks in advance!

Hi, welcome to Tom's-H :-)

Overall, thats a nice build however a couple of things; unless you plan on doing some serious overclocking with the i5 you don't need a h100i. You can get the h60 on amazon for $57.99. Also for 20$ less you can get a hard drive with the same capacity as the seagate.

With the motherboard, you have a have selected a micro-ATX board to fit inside a case which can store an Extended-ATX. With the $60-ish you'd save from the hard drive and water cooler you could afford something a little bigger.

Ultimately this also works out $6.75 cheaper than otherwise :-)

You should get a Z87 or Z97 mobo if you plan to overclock. The B85 mobos are not meant for overclocking.

Thanks for the great replies!
But now this question is not valid since I decided to use the cash I'd kept for my car to get a better PC instead.... So the budget now skyrockets to 15k !!! :)  :)  :)

Haha, well for 1080p gaming all you usually need is about $1-1.5k for a good build. If you want 1440p then you are looking at $2-2.5k, anything over that would be a waste for most people.
