Pc crash when playing games

my pc crashes when playing games and sometimes when on the internet but i got all my gpu drivers up to date and cpu chipset installed but when i playd befor this never happend but now and efter some time it startet to happen more often now i cant play games longer.
my cpu temps are 40 avg when not playing and in game 62 max i play bf4 ,arma 3 and i think its the gpu so i got a new one but i dont want place it in before i know the probelm im not 100% sure its the gpu but thats what i think

may help providing fith full pc spec.if its crash when your not playing (not hard on pc)probably psu.what resoliution is native for your pc(using at moment).:)

make and model of the psu, make and model of the motherboard, make and model of the GPU, and make and model of the PSU......pls...

+ i got a gtx 780 today so i culd see if the gpu was the problem i will test it

have u oc the processor or the card set them to default and see if u still get those crash it also may be a faulty psu....so if u can then check with a different psu...

GTx 770 oc thats right i dont think its the psu work fine before

fix the problem don't know how but could it be that the pci cable was not all the way in i sa that it was lose

ya may be sometimes a lose cable can create some weird problems...but good to know that the problem is solved...
