Hi, I have a TP-Link TL-WN881ND wireless adapter. I've had it for about a month now and its download speeds are usually between 1-2.5mbps, averaging around 2mbps. While downloading it routinely crashes to 0 kbps and then takes a few minutes to hit the average again.
The drivers are the newest ones available and I have all the newest utilities installed as well. Signal strength varies between 64 and 80 percent. The data rate is usually between 78-114mbps as well.
Plugging into the router averages a 7.5mbps download speeds. My previous wireless card was something by dell which averaged around 4-4.5mbps, but it was onboard and came with my motherboard. I'm assuming that a a non-integrated wireless card should be much faster than any cheap shit dell gives you for free.
Can anyone help me at all because I've no idea what to do.
Also, the card is only slow at downloading. Online play has zero lag on my part and internet browsing is fine.
