Hello, I want to build my first pc, and would like to know if these parts go along with each other?

CPU: Intel i7 4770k or i7 4790k
GPU: GeForce gtx 780 (EVGA (ACX) or Asus)
Motherboard: Asus Z87 pro
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB)
SSD: Samsung 840 Evo 500GB
Power Supply: Seasonic 650W 80+ Gold X-650
Case: Corsair 450D Mid-Tower

In addition:
Which CPU should I get (performance for price, normal usage and some gaming)?
Which Should I get the EVGA or Asus? I do intend to overclock it after a year or so?
Is the 650W Power Supply enough or should I get the 750W or even 850W? When I will overclock the GPU it will be liquid cooled so is the 650W enough?

And finally Is the building process for a first timer as easy as tutorials show on youtube?

Thanks for any help.

I5 4690k if you obly plan on gaming, evga are better manufacturers of gpus imo so go for evga and yes, psu is enough, get the 780 acx or get a reference model so yiu can buy waterblocks later on, you plan on a custom loop right? And yes, it's quite easy

Thanks for the help.
The I5 4690k has 4 threads, and I multitask (office, PDF files, browser, videos all at the same time) so the additional 4 threads in the i7 will improve the experience especially with an SSD (if I am wrong please correct me).
And are you sure that 650W is enough for this system with a liquid cooler?

The i7 only starts beating the i5 during video rendering or editing or streaming, for general day to day tasks more RAM might be better? And yes, your power supply's wattage is only recommended for a high end 780 ti so it should keep most of your components running, especially with such a good manufacturer like xfx

Some games do support hyper threading, and then there is a significant performance difference. In addition I watch a lot of online videos. And the cache memory is bigger in the i7. I know the 4690k is more than 100$ cheaper, but still... so I will probably get the 4770k or the 4790k.
Thanks very much for the help.

If you really want to get an i7, then get the 4790K it runs cooler, and it has higher stock clocks. The ASUS 780 is generally cheaper, and is really good, so go with that.

Get a Z97 board, you can get the same board, or I can suggest others if you want.

650W is enough, but you can get an EVGA Supernova 750W G2 that's just as good (which means it's excellent, as that seasonic PSU is great) for cheaper depending on where you live.

You didn't list a CPU cooler, so I'm guessing you're getting a custom loop? As you mentioned liquid cooling the GPU.

And finally, yes it is as easy as the videos on youtube to build a PC.

Yes I will probably get the 4790k.
And should I really get the z97? And what kind (PRO, C, A, not the DELUXE)?
About the CPU cooler, I am going to use the stock cooler because when I overclock it in a year only then I will liquid cool the system.

The ranger is a really good board, I'm getting that myself. (If it's available where you live) If not, the asus z97-A is nice, the msi z97 gaming 5 is another option.

The z97 k will run hot, while the z97 pro has good cooling features.

The Asus z97-K is not bad, although it would not be my first choice. The z97-Pro is a good choice anyway, so go with that, as you seem to like that board. ^^

Are there significant difference between the Asus z97 A and the Pro?

Thank you both for the huge help.
I think I decided to go with the Asus z97 A. But the heatsinks difference between the A and the PRO bothers me a little.

Na asus is a highly respected motherboard manufacturer and I haven't heard of any heatsink related problems on any asus board

You won't have any trouble with the motherboard heating up. You really shouldn't worry.
