I'm having trouble with my computer. For a month my computer sometimes doesn't recognize the gpu. The computer post but shortly after it gives me an error saying no gpu detect via the case speaker. Sometimes when I restart my computer for updates or whatever, it doesn't detect the gpu. When it works, I have a cpu OC profile saved on the bios. After OC I was watching a stream and had steam open(Dual monitor setup) the computer would restart by itself. When going back to stock settings the computer wouldn't restart. I tested the psu with a tester and it passed the test. I don't get any graphical glitches and I have the gpu OC so I don't think it's the gpu. Only thing I can think of is the motherboard but I don't want to buy any parts and find out that it's not that one specific part. Any ideas what it could be?

PS: I had no problems with OC back then until now.

Specs:
CPU: i5 2500k OC to 4.2ghz
GPU: Asus gtx 670 4gb OC
MB: Asus P8P67 WS Revolution
RAM: Kingston Hyperx(8gb)
PSU: Cooler Master Silent Pro M700
Storage: SSD and HDD

It sounds like a possible GPU issue. To get these out of the way, did you try:

1. Re-seating the card. Check for loose connections or dust underneath.
2. Updating to the latest NVIDIA driver from their website.

If you have access to say, a friends rig, you can try moving the GPU over to see if the problem follows the card.

Yes I have tried re-seating the card and using different slots and updated all the drivers. Why would my computer restart when OC my cpu and doing light tasks with the OC? I've never had this problem. Sadly I don't have anyone else that has a rig to test it ou.

OC could be the problem.

Have you tried running without the OC for a while? Sometimes an OC won't cause a problem until later in the CPUs life.

Try running a stress test with "Prime95", and monitor the CPU temperatures with "Real Temp".

Yes i've tried it without OC. Back when I had it OC the temps were always below 55c when playing games. And without the OC the cpu would still stay below 55c.

this answer is depends on the bios, they have to update the bios.Have you tried placing your motherboard horizontally and place ur gpu after that? Because I am having the same problem, When I place my motherboard horizontally, then i place my gpu into the slot,it works for me, You should try that. If it works for you, then you have to wait to bios update.
