Hi all,

I've recently bought a brand new computer with Dual Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 cards.
Since I don't have much knowledge on computers, I did not know of the SLI Capabilities
my computer possesses. But when I open up Nvidia Control Panel it does not
show the SLI Tab.

I've tried removing and reconnecting the cards to the motherboard
and it didn't seem to do anything, I've also tried doing the same for the SLI Cable between
the two GPUs and still no luck.

Any suggestions? Could it be a defective SLI Cable? or is it a defective GPU?
Please advise, I have a Lifetime Warranty on this computer and I want to know
what I would need to request to be replaced, they're shipping me new SLI Cables
but I do not feel that's the issue.

System Configuration
Processor Intel® Core™ i7-4770 Processor
Motherboard MSI Z87-G45 Motherboard
Memory 16GB - Xidax Performance 1600MHz DDR3
Power Supply Corsair 750W Semi-Modular Power Supply
Optical Drive 24X DVD-RW Combo
Case X-6 Case
Graphics x2 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 in SLI
Sound Cards Onboard Audio
HDD/SSD Western Digital Black 1TB - 7200RPM 3.5" HDD
Cooling Intel OEM Cooler
CPU Paste Standard CPU Thermal Paste
GPU Paste Standard Graphics Card Thermal Paste

Try using each GPU on their own, that way you can be sure that both of them work. Also try installing the latest drivers as suggested above.

What are the specs of the PC? Have the PCI-E power cables from the PSU been connected to the GPUs? What does the PhysX/SLI/Surround tab look like on Nvidia control panel (a screenshot would be nice)?

^ Exactly what I was thinking.
It's very possible your motherboard isn't SLI capable. But we won't know until we know what mobo you have. :)

Edit; so it's a prebuilt computer yes? The motherboard should be compatible. Still would be nice to know all of your specs though.

Well the computer was professionaly built by a company called Xidax.
I'm assuming they wouldn't sell me a computer with two GPUs without
giving me a Motherboard with SLI Capabilities.

Here are my specs:

After rereading his post I realized that it was a prebuilt system that came with both cards already installed. I doubt any reputable seller would sell an SLI setup with an incompatible motherboard.

Well that's the thing, the second slot wasn't working for the 2nd GPU. So I moved both of them down to
the bottom 2 slots and it worked. Made me wonder if the Motherboard was defective aswell.

If the 2nd slot doesn't work, the board is probably defective.
