Hey guys,

I just recently bought both a gaming PC and a new graphics card as I have been trying to play total war Rome 2. I want to run the game on extreme settings, and even though I believe I have a decent graphics card, its still not up to par with what I want out of this game. At extreme setting I am able to play most land battles with a lot of troops with no problems. However, city battles and port assaults result in a large drop in frame rates. Not to mention I am getting about 35 fps on land battles alone. I am not sure if it is my computer or the graphics card itself but I am looking to run this game as smoothly as possible. It would mean a lot if anyone could help. As the title suggests, I do not know much about PCs or graphic cards. Can Anyone help?
I will post the links to what I bought on the bottom:

My PC- http://www.frys.com/product/8070554?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN...

My Graphics Card- http://www.frys.com/product/8017664?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN...

Can anyone please help?

I would appreciate it!

It'because more things are happening in a smaller area so lag happens, it happens eith me in shogun 2, try turning the unit size down to medium or small and disable some mods maybe that are graphics related
