i7 4790K and Noctua NH-U12S, incompatible?

The noctua nh-u12s was designed before intel released socket 1150, which the 4790k utilises. It is however compatible with socket 1155 which uses the same fan fittings as far as i know so it should be compatible.

It specifically claims to have socket compatibility with both 1155 & 1150 under specifications in that link I provided. :??:

Remeber that the software you used is in beta, and that the CPU is new, so the entry for the cooler may not have been updated to include compatibility with the processor yet.

The noctua official page says it's compatible, so it's compatible.
