I have accidentally pressed the CMOS button on the back of my motherboard when plugging a usb . The PC was off when it happened. I have very little idea what it does or how to rectify the problem. When I start up the PC it hangs at the windows icon, it never gets to the desktop. the only way I can switch it off is to press the power button or throw the switch on the PSU. I have no important data on it. I do need to sort it out as squint-a-vision via my smartphone isn't fun!
