Please don't hate on me trying to get this weak CPU or the fact that i have a dead-beat PC to begin with. But anyways, I need this question answered fast because it's about to go out of sale on Amazon :(

Solution
It should be available on the Dell site to download. Simply go to the support section of there site and enter your service tag (it should be on a black sticker on the top of the computer). The go to the Downloads and Drivers option and click on the BIOS section. It should be listed in there for download. I'll be back online later if you have more questions, but I'm heading out for a bit now. Good Luck!

755 SFF use a Q35 chipset and will support that cpu, but the BIOS on Optiplex's is extremely restrictive and don't support overclocking features, at least from what I've seen at my workplace (we have 50+ of those 755 SFF).

I'm sorry, but what is a A20 BIOS revision? I'm relatively knew to the prospects of motherboards and BIOS's, the only thing I know about BIOS is you should update them before adding new components. So how can I obtain or update to a A20 BIOS revision or does my Optiplex 755 come with it?

Hi everyone. Problem solved. It is true you need Bios A20. I have the E8500 Processor and works like a charm. Am upgrading soon to the extreme quad. I modded the case and made my own heat sink strap with a pice of metal I sheard off the back to fit a HD6970 Powercolor. Heat sink shrouding is in the way for 10" cards. I mounted the heat sink side ways with artic silver and put a 10000Rpm server fan on it. COOL AS A CUCUMBER! I have a 1050 watt bronze PS. This machine plays GTA 4 Sleeping dogs, Murdered Souls, Hit Man Absolution, Watch Dogs all at or above PS4 Or xbox one conditions. I really recommend spending the money in a 200$ - 400$worth of up grades and some handy work. it beats paying 500 hundred for a game system that wont keep up with this thing any ways. I nic named mine the "FrankinDell" Make sure you got at least six gb of 6400 ram. I have six Gskill and going to eight. Happy building. Will post pics when i stuff the readon 7950 Double D in it. This is the last class of card i can put in it before X16 2.1 Bottle necks. FYI the 755 sff has a 4gbs buss rating.
Oh You need to do the bios updates one after the other in succession. Go to dell chat and ask for direct windows install links. ALLOT EASIER!!!! HAPPY MODING
Quad : $120 or less, 8Gb 6400 666 gskil $50, readon 7950 Double D $125 Artic silver $7.....Moding PRICELESS total $302 xbox can eat it
