1st pc build ever

Ive always been a console gamer i quit a couple yrs ago and decided i really would rather go into pc gaming and im wanting to build my first gaming pc these are the parts im thinking bout radeon 7770 graphics card, Samsung 840 250gb State Drive, As Rock ATX z77 Extreme 4 motherboard or a ASUS Z-87 PRO, Seagate Barracuda 2 TB mechanical hard drive, Corsair 850watt powersupply, Windows 7 pro operating system, Generic 5.25" card reader, Hyper X 8gb (2x4gb) ram, Lg internal Blu Ray drive, Intel Core i5-3570k Quade Core Processor 3.4 GHz here is my problem im wanting to get a great case for 50-100 dollars and ive decided between the Rosewill Challenger ATX or 500r Corsair Im just wondering if this will fit int the rosewill challenger and any other info or advice would b greatly appreciated thanx. this will be the first pc i have ever built so if im overkilling something pls tell me

First off. Z87 and 3570K CPU do not go together. :)

Second. State your budget and we can help you get a complete build.

850Watt PSU is way overkill, you need no more that 600W for pretty much any single GPU out there.

Also I would STRONGLY suggest you spend more on the graphics card, the HD7770 is a good card for lower resolution gaming, its not meant for 1920*1080 HD resolution.

DO you already have a monitor?
Do you need windows?

Thanks for the welcome and About 1300 or more I am buying a part a month or more until i get it all what graphic card would u suggest so would the CPU fit the as rock atx z77 extreme and a 40" Emerson HDTV i would prefer to have windows which case would you suggest
