r9 270 or hd 7870?

I am buying a new gpu for my pc.
In my country the 7870 costs about 50 dollars less than the r9 270..
Is the price difference really worth it?

No, they're basically the same GPU, but the newer R9 270 is very slightly faster. The 270 is definitely not worth the extra $50.
