Hi i wanted to know how much i could overclock my cpu and for that i want to know what the max temperature of my 4770k should be when overclocked without damaging or shortening the life span of the cpu ?

Solution

The TJMax of the 4770K is 100C once the processor reaches 95C, it will start throttling and this is when it starts to damage your Haswell processor. So you've got to make sure that your CPU never reaches 90C.
You ask about why your H100i is not working well with your chip? Have you thought about your ambient temeratures? What about ventilation? Is your case well ventilated? Your GPU might also add to that factor bro. Just making sure!
Hope I helped. Also, I like the fact that you've got two of those R9 295x2...

Wow wow wow 1425v+!!!!
i put only 1.250,1425v is insane,no-one uses that much voltage,it will kick up the 100c's with that voltage...
Well i mean i will never put 1425v+ but my cores go up to 78c only at 4.5ghz 1.250v :/
And i don't get why since it's not a lot of voltage,even though it's stable :/
But i want to know why it runs so hot on my h100i :/
my h100i doesn't have any problems i really checked, well if you have an answer thanks and thank you for replying to my question :/
I've also got two R9 295x2's :D
So if you ever wanna play anything add me on steam.

thanks i'll try and add you. good job with those gpus. Haswell is really known to run hot maybe it is ok to run up to 90c but thats when damage happens at 105 it throttles. you can try increasing fan speed or pump speed.
