how can you tell if your ram slot is doa or your ram stick?

I am a 0x000001a survivor. I survived by removing 1 ram stick. But the ram slot seems to not work because I had the swtich teh ram slot

Put the ram stick in a different slot. Or put a different stick of ram in the slot you think may be bad.
