i3 is an amazing cpu why do people hate it ?

Who said people hate the i3? The 4th generation i3 CPUs are widely recommended for budget builds (at least on this site), I would even say that they're more popular than the AMD FX-6300.

Nobody hates it, it just that for gaming the i5 is superior.

Uou might hate it if you get an i3 to play demanding games like BF4 and expect to play ultra resolution.

I've been reading PC forums almost daily for a year now and never heard anyone say they hate the I3, or even dislike it. For a dual core CPU (with hyperthreading) it performs very well. It's just the I5 quad core is better for gaming.
