Hi all,

I recently installed a new Asus z97-Pro with an i5-4690k as well as a 250GB SSD and 8GB Gskill Ram. Suffice it to say, I'm very pleased with the upgrade :D

I've had a GTX 770 2GB Palit Jetstream card for a while now and was wondering if it could handle an Asus PB278Q 27" monitor (1440p)? I mainly play Battlefield 4 so take that as a benchmark if you will.

Will a Corsair TX850 (PSU) handle all the parts in motion?

Thanks all!

PS: I am considering another GTX 770 2GB to SLI; would that cut the mustard? It'd be cheaper if I could stick to what I've got at the moment

Avoid SLI if possible, it can cause more problems than its worth and the performance gain is not much.
The GTX 770 should handle a 1440p monitor if you redue the settings down a little (maybe just 2xAA)
A TX 850 would handle an SLI config, so you should be fine whatever you do.

Instead of SLI, just sell the 770 in 2 years, and put the money towards a better, more up to date gpu.

These are the results on Ultra so on High I am guessing you would probably be able to hover around 50-55 FPS on 1440 with a single GTX 770.

Of course it's all down to personal preference but I would rather spend money on a faster/better GPU which would allow me to play at higher FPS (preferably 120) than spending the money on a high-res monitor and being forced to play on sub 60 FPS.

What card would you suggest I upgrade to so I could play 1440p?

What's a great 1920 x 1080p monitor then for a GTX 770 2GB? I'm using an "iiyama 2472 HD".
