Sudden freezing all the time

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I'm not very good with computers and I don't know what's going on. Ever since a few days ago, every two hours or so my computer just starts freezing a lot for about an hour. For instance when I open a new tab in Chrome the whole program stalls for about 10 seconds and I'm not able to click anything on any other program either. Programs are also extremely slow when opening and closing them and they sometimes also cause the freezing. Like I said it only happens every two hours or so and lasts for about an hour so sometimes this issue is extremely inconvenient and sometimes it doesn't happen at all and my computer runs perfectly. I've run Malwarebytes multiple times and deleted everything it detected to make sure it wasn't malware. Could anyone help with this, because unfortunately it prevents me from doing my job.

Now that you have Core Temp installed I would do something to put a load on the CPU and watch the temps. From your screenshot it looks like the CPU doesn't have much of a load. Those temps are around where it should be under load, not idle. My guess is that when the CPU is under load the temps will go very high. That is likely the cause of your freezing issues. You can use a program like Prime95 to put the CPU under load.

Did the system freeze during the test? How long did you run the test? Those temps are not to the point of causing throttling. What are your complete system specs? A low quality PSU can cause all sorts of stability issues including freezing. Another possibility is your RAM. You can use Memtest86+ to test for RAM problems.

It's starting to make more sense now. I didn't realize we were working with a pre-built system. OEMs nearly always use PSUs that are better used as a door-stop than going anywhere near delicate computer components. My guess is the POS PSU is going out and sending voltage spikes that cause the freezing problem. I'm also curious to see the results of the Memtest86+ test.

Are there by any chance any other factors you'd need to know before deciding? I just want to be 110% sure since I don't exactly earn much money to be able to buy things out of trial-and-error.

Every half-hour or so I hear something seem to shut down, so I thought it might be one of my hard drives. After double-clicking a program on my secondary hard drive I could hear the sound of it starting up then the program opened after the sound finished. Would this be connected to the PSU issue? I don't think it happened before the freezing problem.

Sounds like a weird HDD board issue... I would check the SMART status on something (BIOS or Linux Live CD, but just something that can check SMART).

And continuing on the PSU issue, I would recommend this:
Corsair CX430 80+ Bronze
