AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition will it bottleneck?

Hello as the title says my CPU is that.

Will it bottleneck with a XFX R9 270X 2GB?

CPU is not overclocked, stock speed 3.4, stock cooler (planing to get a Hyper EVO 212 if I get enough money)

Depends mostly on the game engine in question, but also on resolution and refresh rate.

THW is always in need of bottleneck explanation, so here is my take on the subject matter.Your "bottleneck" will be dependent on the software you run and your display. For gaming:Your CPU handles the game engine and will be able to make a certain amount... Read More
  2. Well I plan on playing Ghosts a little bit (now I preoredred the new CoD:Advanced Warfare and GTA V) Battlefield 4

    Resolution 1920x1080 60hz

I dont plan on playing ULTRA, EXTREME, OVERKILL!!!!

High is enough no ultra for me I'm not suffering over ULTRA, EXTREME, OVERKILL graphics.

and to add 8GB of ram 1333mhz :)

You'll probably have some drops below 60FPS in large multiplayer battles, otherwise you got it covered.
  4. play on med settings on 1080p or high settings 720p and it should be fine. minimum system requiremtns for ghost is

ATI Radeon HD 5870 or better

so no even though you are using a more recent gcard, if you play with the settings turn down a little it shouldn't overwhelm that cpu, it's a trooper actually hehe.
