Ok heres my problem. This is my pc. It's done me pretty well for a while but now it's developed a pretty significant issue.

PSU:
Thermaltake Toughpower Gold 850W
CPU:
Intel Core i5-3570 CPU @ 3.40Ghz
RAM:
8gb ram (unknown brand)
GFX:
Nvidia Geforce GTX 660
HDD:
Kingston SH103S3120G 120 GB SSD
Seagate ST300DM001 (Barracuda) 3 TB
Western Digital WD10EALX (Caviar blue) 1 TB
DVD:
Liteon Blu-ray burner
The OS (Windows 7) is installed to the SSD, with the other two HDD's as storage drives.
I found that the system was randomly shutting down. This is a complete power down, as if it has been switched off, not a reset, and there is no BSOD.
There were three different circumstances when this would occur.
On start up, as Windows attempts to boot.
Once booted, immediately after logging in at the Windows 7 user login screen.
And rarely, the computer would successfully boot and be usable for a short period before, ultimately, doing the same thing, randomly. In this case it occurred under varying
loads. It could occur while simply using Windows and no other applications, or while playing a game.
I have not installed any new hardware, software or updates, and it's not overheating.
To diagnose, I started removing items until I found the cause.
What I have found is, if I remove all of the additional drives, so the 3TB, 1TB, and burner, the system works just fine, every time. In fact, I'm typing this from it right now. This makes me think it's not a fault with CPU, GFX card, memory, etc, and instead something to do with these 'faulty' items.
I have attempted to reconnect each of them individually. Each individual item causes the same fault. This makes me think it's not a fault with the items themselves as all
three should not fail in the same way at the same time.
I have swapped out SATA data and power cables, however the fault still occurs. This makes me think it's not a faulty cable.
I have changed the 'faulty' items to use different SATA ports on the MB, however the fault still occurs.
While installed by itself, I have moved the SSD to different SATA ports (the ones which the 'faulty' items were plugged into) and the system functions. This makes me think it's not a faulty SATA port.
At this point I'm stumped. Suggestions?
*** UPDATE ***
After about two hours or so of use, with only the SSD, running only a web browser effectively, the system turned off in the same way.
Sounding pretty good for faulty PSU?
