I have a cooler master hyper tx3 and it has push pins. The pins are not going in the hole. I talked to the cooler mastter support and they are saying that the white plastic also needs to go in the hole and only then the cooler will stay in place. I do nnot know if this is right or wrong. However the white plastic is already expanded and is wide so ofcourse it is not gonna go in so how do I make the plastic come together. I have tried using fingers and its not working. It has been about 2 days and I am having problems. Pushpins suck.
I want help

Uhh, it sounds like bent the push pins when you tried to get them in. they're supposed to be like, conical needles that once pushed thru are dificult to remove. Do you have an AMD or Intel cpu/motherboard? because Amd motherboards use the metal retention clip instead of the push pins.
