Hello, I was fooling around in my amd catalyst control center because battlefield 3 just put me into a low res after I quit it, so I tried to change it to my default resolution 1600x900, and I saw a composite sync option, and I was wondering what it did...so I checked it. After that my monitor got no signal, I tried restarting and my monitor was fine till it finished booting up windows 8, and then it just gets no signal like before. I tried factory resetting it while in bios, but that doesn't seem to work. Windows 8 also won't boot into safe mode without me actually in windows 8 which is a problem. Any suggestions? Btw I'm having to type this from my phone...

Take out your GPU and put it back in. Just try to see if that works.

Try maybe to clear the CMOS or restore the display monitor into default using the buttons?
