Hi...

My mobo wasn't working anymore (Asus P9X79), I was in a hurry and got a Sabertooth X79 for a very high price... now I don't see my memory in the Qualified Vendors List for this Sabertooth...

My nightmare started yesterday when my GTX 770 Classified arrived home. Everything was fine with one of my computers (my personal one). I have the same build in another computer (my wife's computer), except for the videocard (which was a GTX 650) so I changed my old videocard (GTX 660ti) to this other computer doing an upgrade.

First the computer didn't turn on, later I moved the card, tried again and was ON. So I plugged all peripherals and guess? It wasn't turning on anymore.

After trying EVERYTHING, jumpers/CMOS, updating BIOS, tested inside/outside the case, tested the CPU in the other PC same for PSU, RAM, etc... everything worked fine in my computer. I tried to connect the motherboard in my case and It wasn't working either. So that's why I went into the store to buy another P9X79 but the only thing I could find for LGA 2011 was an expensive Sabertooth X79.

Got home, wife was super mad because she needed the PC to work, plugged everything and nothing happened. At first try nothing... but then I retry and the red lights for RAM and CPU were ON. Lights in front of panel where crazy like something with electricity.

So I unplugged the RAM and tried again, nothing...

Today I was desperate and call a techinician who told me my mobo was fried but today looking into forums I found that my RAM is not on the QVL, so that means it won't work?

Right now I don't know what's going on... I don't know if my video card is broken (I oppened, put some thermal paste in the GPU) closed and that was the only thing I did... I don't know if the new Sabertooth is also fried... or maybe the RAM don't work... I'm lost... I'm sad... I spent 400$ wasting my time/money... I don't know what to do...

Should I send my P9X79 to Asus? should I go back to the store and ask for another Sabertooth X79, sell it, then buy another P9X79? I'm really lost... I don't want to try the video card in my working computer... because I really need at least one at home.

SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH... I'm learning since I moved here (FL, USA) 6 months ago, I build boths computers, I know about hardware, etc...

:(

Thanks
