Why is memory part label stating specifications but system using cpu-z shows another? In my bios I read 667mhz but cpu-z states otherwise. Am I being cheated? How to fix this?
667 MT/s is indicative of PC2-5300 memory, but cpu-z may be reading the clock speed, which will be half of the data rate. PC2-6400 should be at 400 Mhz and 800 MT/s.
