Hello,

have you checked the temperatures of your CPU and GPU?

You can use http://www.hwinfo.com/ or similar.

If the temperature readings you are getting at too high then you should consider improving the situation by cleaning your PC case and CPU and/or GPU coolers from the dust that might have build up. You can use a can of compressed air. While you are at it you should make sure the CPU heatsink is seated properly on the CPU and if needed you can clean the old thermal paste and reapply new one.

Make sure there is a good airflow in your PC case - good balance of intake and exhaust fans. Also check your cable management - a ball of spaghetti looking cables could block and reduce the airflow.

Also if this has been happening for a while it could be due to wrong settings in your BIOS. You could try resetting BIOS to default to make sure if you haven't made some tweaks that are messing up with your CPU/RAM voltage/timings etc.

What are optimal temperatures?
Also i have never messed with the bios settings, was reading that the only reason to reset it would be if it would turn on but not display anything due to settings not being compatible.
