I can spend about $100 more at most. I just need some help with this build. I'm not sure if it is good. tell me what you think.

I know "i7 is overkill for gaming, just get the i5" has become the default answer in the forums lately, but for a system in this price range the i7 makes sense. Newer games are already starting to be able to take advantage of hyperthreading and that will continue. I think the build looks good as-is. A GTX 780 will work great for any current game running on a single monitor. It looks like you've done your research on components and I don't see any red flags. Enjoy the system!

What do you think you might do with this?

There are a few things to change, but just curious of the direction because there are a few things that can be adjusted.

I run mine (system) editing then gaming... so I have allot of HD's 6+ and 80% of them are SSD's.
