I am not 100 percent if I want to spend the money on a PC, I mean.. I DO , but it's like.. eh. Only for Skyrim/Minecraft/GTA 5 modded out for the most part.. is it worth buying all the upgrades by starting from scratch? I guess I am asking to be persuaded or if a 750 TI GTX would do fine.. I don't know! I'm willing to do around 1500 for a PC too.

If you are going to spend 1500, it surely won't have a cheap 750ti. It will have something ALOT better. For 1500 you can max all games.

For $1k, you would have better luck with a new PC. But then, what's your specs?

You seem unsure. I would not spend that much money for a few games. In that case get an Xbox One or 360.

Just upgrade the PSU and GPU in your computer. It will easily max game for a long time. It is an overkill CPU and plenty of RAM for gaming. All it needs is a GPU to max games.

Wait for the GTX 880 to be released. Then get that and an XFX TS 550w ATX PSU (non-modular version should fit in your case) and you're all set.

If you have more money to spend on upgrades, then get yourself an SSD and Windows 8.1 (full version). Or get a nice 4K monitor.

I would say just upgrade and get a GTX 780, along with a AX760i.

wait, so the motherboard and whatnot is perfectly good for a better graphics card?just a new gpu and psu would do the trick? I don't plan on SLI or anything fancy.

YEs, ALL your system needs for a better GPU is a better PSU. Thats all.

Get an Antec, XFX, Seasonic 500-600w PSU and a gtx760 and you will be running all games at high settings. Get a gtx770 to max most all games.

If you want a different case, then you may do so. Then you should not have any problems fitting in any GPU. Then it will be possible to put in an R9-280X if you go for a mid tower case.

I recommend a new case as well if you get a gtx780.
